The Southwater Royals FC Presentation Day is a day for us to celebrate the players, managers, coaches and committees  inclusion within the football club. It's a day to recognise the players achievements and their team spirit while also trying to raise some funds to help finance the beginning of the next season.

It is important to the committee that the players all get to feel that they are a part of the Southwater Royals Family and it is with many thanks that we are able to announce that Voyager School Travel has made a donation to Southwater Royals FC to go towards the Presentation Day trophies.

Southwater Royals Race Night, Committee Report

Posted 13/12/2017

This years Race Night was held on Saturday 18th November. Its the most important night of the year for Southwater Royals FC, as it raises the most amount of money for the club. A lot of hard work had gone into the event beforehand with Team Reps from each age group working really hard to sell the Horses and Jockeys and get race sponsors for their age group race. Every age group rep did a great job in getting parents, grandparent, family and friends to part with there money. Raising this money before the event is a really important part of event as there is much banter going on about horse and jockey names and who is going to win the race!

Under 7's manager change

Posted 12/8/2017

Steve Layton, the Under 6's manager last season has had to stand down due to work commitments. Volunteering to run a junior football team is a very big commitment and incredibly time consuming so we would like to thank Steve for everything he has done.

Martin Swabey has offered to take the team on for the upcoming season and Mike Tydd (The Under 9's manager) will be helping him to get things up and running. Going forward Martin will need help and support, so if you think you can assist in anyway please let Martin or Mike. There are many jobs that need to be done in order for the kids to get the most out of their time at the club and these cannot all be done by one person alone, they do not all need to be carried out by experienced footballers so please try to help if you can, every little bit helps.
